Apartments Designed for Winter Convenience

Snow looms on the horizon at Madison Farms.

When Mother Nature decides to blanket the area in snow, it can cause some problems for residents of the Lehigh Valley. From shoveling sidewalks to plowing driveways to clearing ice dams from gutters, day-to-day living is a lot more work when the temperature drops and the skies open up.

At Madison Farms, the luxury rental community in Bethlehem Township, residents don’t worry much about the snow. The community was designed with resident convenience in mind, a fact that is particularly evident in the winter. Shoveling and snow plowing are handled early in the morning. Walkways to the community’s retail village are cleared. Instead of driving through the snow for supplies, residents can walk just a few feet to ShopRite, or stroll to Starbucks for some coffee.

The Madison Farms clubhouse is a popular gathering place when it snows, offering activities that include ping-pong, billiards, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

“Apartment living in general lends itself to a low-maintenance lifestyle, but we do everything we can to go above and beyond that standard at Madison Farms,” said Jeremy Kaplan, Chief Operating Officer of The KRE Group. “In the winter, that means clearing walkways, driveways and internal roads quickly to allow residents to keep to their normal schedule. It also means maintaining our high-touch service and providing full access to our indoor amenities so that residents’ lives are minimally impacted by inclement weather.”

Madison Farms was designed as a community that blends housing, retail, amenities and open space into a single community. That reduces the need to drive, especially in snowy or icy weather. Residents still need their car to get to and from work, but once they are home for the day they can simply walk to shops, restaurants and amenities. The community’s clubhouse offers plenty of ways to ward off cabin fever, such as a fitness center, billiards, ping-pong, media room and lounge with fireplace.

“We have a lot of residents who have moved here after selling their single-family home and they’re amazed at how much more free time they have,” said Jo Ana Llorens, Property Manager of Madison Farms. “They are happy to just clean off their car when it snows and not have to worry about anything else.”

One- and two-bedroom rental residences are still available at Madison Farms, at prices starting from $1,320. For more information call (610) 628-4063 or visit The leasing office is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
