Saturday, August 5th at the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm
This day is a great day to get your hands on some history with heritage crafts. Visitors will be able to see the craft people at work and even try some of the crafts themselves. With a whole day dedicated to crafts there will be plenty of time to learn the techniques and the history behind them. There will be demonstrations of basket making, spinning, weaving, egg etching, wheat weaving, and broom making. Programs are from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $10 per adult and $5 per child ages 3-12 years old.
