Saturday, November 3rd at the DaVinci Science Center in Allentown

Jack-O-Lantern Lane, opening September 22, is a newly-designed, family-friendly walk-through Halloween experience that excites, delights, but doesn’t fright. Dr. Frankenstein has moved into town and he needs your help to bring science to life! To get to Frankenstein’s Lab, stroll through Jack-O-Lantern Lane and explore the giant Newton’s Cradle, the science of the color-changing Circuit House, and more exhibit stations. At the end of your journey, use your knowledge to help Dr. Frankenstein with his lively experiments, such as FrankenToys, Monster Masks, and more. Before you leave, discover the science behind Dr. Frankenstein’s greatest creation during the It’s Alive! Live Science Show on weekends.
Jack-O-Lantern Lane is sponsored by The Hartford and Agora Cyber Charter School.

Facebook followers are being asked three trivia questions about the history of Musikfest. Users who respond to the question earn a chance to win, with up to three entries per person possible. The winner will be selected randomly on Thursday, August 11th.

The first question – “The first Musikfest in 1984 drew a crowd of more than 180,000 to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and featured performers such as this “American Pie” singer? – received 37 responses, which means that the odds of winning are actually pretty good. The second question is up now too and the contest organizers say one more will follow this week.

We’re already seeing a lot of #Musikfest fans having a good time out there. There are, of course, a lot of good free acts too. Even though it lasts 10 days, this festival always seems to go very fast. Who are you most looking forward to seeing this year?
