MOD Pizza held it’s grand opening Friday at their newest site at Madison Farms on Freemansburg Avenue in Bethlehem Township.
MOD Pizza has restaurants throughout the United States. The chain opened its first Lehigh Valley restaurant last year off Airport Road and Route 22 in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.
Co-founders Scott and Ally Svenson started MOD Pizza in 2008 in Seattle.
On opening day, 100 percent of the pizza sales where donated to the Third Street Alliance for Women & Children.
“They have generously offered to donate the proceeds of all pizza sales today, so that is really wonderful, plus I love pizza.” said Alisa Baratta, executive director of Third Street Alliance for Women & Children.
